Road To Parenthood: Month 2

Another day, another morning of vomiting into the toilet. I was hunched over the white bowl, trrying to breathe again. Once I caught my breath, I lifted my head from the toilet. "GAMZEE!" My voice cracked slightly from the burning pain in my throat. I heard two sets of footsteps and saw John and Karkat. I raised my eyebrow. "Where's," I coughed. "Gamzee?" Karkat sighed as he got a wet rag and wiped my face for me. He may act like an ass, but he was a nice guy when his friends were hurting. "He went to the store with Kanaya and Rose. Rose said that she could help Gamzee pick out food you liked." I nodded. I reached a hand out as I started to get up, signaling for someone to keep me from falling again. John helped me off of the floor while Karkat flushed the toilet. We walked back into the living room and sat on the couch.

I noticed Karkat staring at me. "What?" "Is your chest bigger?" He asked, blushing a little. I looked at my boobs. "Yeah. They're more sensitive too." John blushed now. "That's why I'm not wearing a bra." They looked at me. "Y-you're not?" "Nope. My boobs hurt too much. So, I just said "fuck it" and threw the bra across the room." I looked at them for a minute before John started laughing. Karkat smirked, shaking his head. I laughed. "What?! I couldn't help it! I felt mad at my bra for hurting me, so I punished it!" That made John laugh harder and Karkat chuckle. "Hahaha-ow. Ow. My boobs jiggled too much..." They laughed harder.

"...Is my shirt wet?" John looked at my shirt. "Oh crap! [Name]!" He pointed to my chest, and I saw wet spots on it. The spots slowly got bigger. "Oh, that's normal, John. I was on a website last night, looking up pregnancy symptoms, and I found out that women's breasts can start leaking." I stood and walked to mine and Gamzee's room. Sighing, I grabbed a sports bra and breast pads. I hissed as I put the bra on, then I pulled a new shirt on. Walking back into the living, I noticed three more bodies. "Gamzee~!" I hugged him from behind, making him jump. He turned to face me. "Heh. Sup, sis?" He hugged me back. Gamzee pointed to the kitchen. "Rose and Kanaya are putting the food up, if ya wanna see what we bought." I nodded, jogging to the kitchen. 'Thank God they got food. I'm starving.' I rubbed my stomach, smiling a little when I felt the firm spot. I had gotten a little bigger, but not enought to notice. Unless you look REALLY close, and I was standing sideways.

"Oh! You bought pickles!" I bounced happily. Rose laughed. "Yeah. But," She put them in the fridge. "At least wait until they're cold." I pouted. "Fine." We laughed and walked back into the living room. "We'll see you guys later. Kanaya and I are going shopping." Rose waved and left. "Hey, Karbro. Thanks for watching her while I was gone." I heard Gamzee say. "No prob. If you need our help again, just ask." John smiled. They left a few minutes later. Gamzee and I sat on the couch, with me leaning on his shoulder. I yawned, rubbing my eyes. "Tired?" I nodded a little. "Mm-hmm." Gamzee pulled me into his lap. "Then get your motherfucking sleep on, sis. We're not doing anything for a while." I cuddled into his chest, smiling to myself. I felt one of Gamzee's hands leave my waist, making me open my eyes tiredly. 'He must think I'm asleep...' His hand settled on my stomach, right where the tight spot is. "Don't worry, lil' man. ...Or girl." He chuckled quietly. "I'll make sure nothing happens to you." He pecked me on the head. "Or your momma." I smiled wider, yawning a little and going to sleep.
