##Indigo Heart: When I Look At You##

(A/N: YES. THIS IS NAMED AFTER THE MILEY CYRUS SONG. ALSO, OOC!ZIM)

##Taliya's point of view##

(A/N: Remember, Taliya is very out of it, right now. She doesn't know that Kikina, Zim, Dib, and Gaz are okay.)

The voices. They won't stop. 'KILL. KILL.' Horrorterrors keep fading in and out of my vision. I looked down at the body of the Condesce. I couldn't enjoy the fact that the war was over. My head hurt too bad. I hate this. Everyone I loved is dead. Kikina. Fuck; Grand Highblood is gone. Dib. Gaz. Gir. .... Zim... Something to my right approached me, so I swiped out, growling in that strange language I didn't know I knew. It must be because of the Horrorterrors. Tears slipped out of my eyes. I hate this so much...

More figures tried to get near me, so I roared at them. Don't they understand that I could kill them? Are they that stupid?! ... Someone... please... save me...

##Kikina's point of view##

Taliya nearly scratched Gamzee's nose off. She's really out of it. I wanted to get close to her, but Karkat was holding me back. I think he was afraid of Taliya killing me. She wouldn't do that... would she? Well... she did, almost, attack Gamzee. The only other time that happened was when she ate some of his pie.

Tears fell down Taliya's face as she started walking away. I called out to her. She turned around, a mix of blood and tears staining her cheeks. She said something, but I couldn't understand her. Taliya started screeching at us, and I vaguely understood two word. "KILL.......... ME..........." My eyes widened as her eyes gained a pleading look. I looked around, noticing the distressed looks on everyone's faces. They understood her too. No one could do it, though. I felt my own tears fall. Karkat saw this and wrapped an arm around me. Terezi and Kanaya let their tears free, too. Aradia had her hand over her face, a calculating look in her eyes. She was trying to find a way to return Taliya to normal.

##Third point of view##

Zim's blood ran cold. He studied Grimdark before. He knew that, once a Troll went Grimdark; it was nearly impossible to return them to normal. Not even Heroes of Time could revert them. Zim walked forward slowly, not wanting to frighten the Witch. The Trolls, and humans, watched him carefully.

##Taliya's point of view##

One of the figures slowly came torwards me. I examined it carefully. It didn't look like the others. I spotted something that looked like antenne ontop of it's head. Parts of it's head faded from white to red. The red spots shone with sadness, and love. My eyes widened. 'Zim... He's alive...' I brought my hand up shakily, cupping his cheek. He gripped it in his own, three-fingered hand. More tears fell, not like they ever stopped.

##Third point of view##

Everyone watched in amazement as the black mist dulled slightly. Taliya smiled slightly, gurgling happily. It was hard to make out what she was saying, but the group could make out a few words. "Zim....................... help................. me.................please................." Zim pulled Taliya's hood down, letting everyone get a better look at her. Her skin was pale, and glowed slightly. Not as bad as Kanaya's, but it was still glowing. Zim hugged her, one hand on her waist and the other tangling itself in her hair. Taliya's eyes widened before she gurgled again and hugged him back, her hand fisting the back of his invader uniform. Sobs racked Taliya's body.

Kikina buried her face in Karkat's shoulder. Gaz ran a hand over her face from her spot on the floor. Dib, who had his arm in a makeshift sling, pursed his lips, in attempt to keep himself from crying. They can't believe this.

##Taliya's point of view##

I feel so... warm now. When I was fighting, all I felt was a cruel chill that gripped my bones. Now that I'm with Zim, I feel warm. I want to go back to normal. I don't want this power if it means I can't see Zim. Or Kikina. Or anyone. I don't want this power if it means I'll never head their voices again. I don't want this power if it means I can't talk to them! I don't want this! I DON'T WANT THIS!

My body convulsed harder as my sobs deepened. I don't want this. I don't want this. I kept repeating that in my head, hoping the Horrorterrors would release me. My head was suddenly lifted up gently. I nearly lost myself in the red orbs that shone through the dark world I now see. I felt a gentle pressure on my lips, making my eyes widen.

##Third point of view##

Everyone stared in shock as Zim kissed Taliya. The Witch's eyes widened, before slipping shut. Zim's tears finally shed as his eyes shut. Zim held Taliya tightly, as if he was afraid that she'd vanish from this world completely. 'Taliya,' Zim thought. 'Please... come back to us.'

As if she heard his thoughts; the black mist started to disappear. Taliya's skin stopped glowing. They seperated, and Taliya opened her eyes. They were back to their original yellow and black color. Her hair, on the other hand, stayed it's bright white color. She smiled brightly at Zim.

##Taliya's point of view##

Everything's back to normal.... My world isn't dark anymore. The white figures I saw were back to humans, Trolls, and an Irken. "Zim..." I whispered, my voice back to normal as well. "Thank you..." I hugged him tightly. "Thank you so much!" He hugged her back. "You're welcome, Taliya." I seperated from Zim, and looked around. Happy tears fell when I saw Kikina, Dib, and Gaz. Alive. A little bruised and broken, but alive. Kikina ran at me, baically tackling me to the ground. "THANK GOD AND TROLL JEGUS YOU'RE OKAY!" She screeched, rubbing her cheek against mine. We both stood, smiling brightly.

"How about we get out of here?" I suggested, holding my hand out to Zim. He nodded and took it. Aradia took Sollux's arm, who smiled and leaned down, kissing her cheek. She gave him one in return, making his cheeks turn yellow. Kikina pulled her wings in and gave Gaz a piggyback ride, seeing as the human's leg was broken. Terezi hugged Karkat's arm, making him sigh. Kanaya examined Dib's arm as they walked out. Zim quickly put on his disguise before we reached the exit.

When we stepped out of the palace, we found a crowd of humans outside. They froze when they saw us, waiting for something. "... THE CONDESCE AND THE TALLEST ARE DEAD!" Kikina yelled, thrusting a fist in the air. The humans cheered loudly. Some of the reporters came up to us, asking questions about how we defeated the Tyrant. I just stood in the back, with Zim, smiling softly. The sun shining down on us with a comforting glow. I looked at Zim out of the corner of my eye, noticing he was watching me as well. We both turned to each other. "Zim...... I love you." He smiled down at me. "I love you, too." I kissed him quickly, then looked in his eyes. Again, I nearly lost myself in those red orbs. In that moment, I realized something.

This is my new home.

I don't want to go back to Alternia, or what's left of it, anyway. I want to stay here, on Earth. With Dib. And Gaz. And Zim. And, by the looks of it, all of us are staying here. I smiled again as we started heading to the Membrane household. "Hey, guys, are you going back to Alternia?" I asked. Everyone looked at each other. "Well... we could, if we wanted to," Sollux said, shrugging. "But, there's really nothing to return to," he finished. I grinned. "So, we can stay?!" I asked happily, jumping up and down. Kikina laughed slightly. "Yes. We can," she said. I cheered, before groaning. "Ooh........... GOING DOWN," I groaned out, falling down. "Taliya!" Dib called out. I smiled painfully. "I guess the wounds' pain are finally setting in. Hehe....ow..." Zim chuckled and picked me up. He started heading for his base, causing everyone to look at him. "What? I think she'll be more comfortable at my base!" Gaz and Kikina glared at him. "Alright, Irken. But, if we find out she's even more hurt than she is now..." Kikina started. "You're gonna be in a horrible nightmare world, got it?" Gaz finished. Zim gulped and nodded, scurrying to his base. He sat down on the couch, putting me in his lap. "Computer: Repair Gir," Zim said, emptying Gir's body onto the couch. Mechanical arms came out and picked up the pieces, then disappeared into the many wires in the ceiling.

Zim ran his hand through my short hair. I leaned my head on his chest. "...How much of the fight did you see?" I asked quietly. He paused for a second, before going back to running his hand through my hair. "I saw the part where you were wrestling the Condesce on the ground. And you ripping her head off," he said. I gripped the fabric of his shirt in my fist, looking up at him. I knew there was shame on my features. He smiled at me. "Don't look so ashamed. You weren't in control of yourself." I leaned against his chest again. "You know... Irkens and Alternians used to be Allies," Zim said suddenly. I hummed thoughtfully. "Yep. They used to, um.... breed soldiers using both Irken and Alternian DNA." I blushed, looking up at Zim. "How is that possible? The Mother Grub can only identify Alternian genetic material." Zim smirked. "How about I show you? It can be in celebration of our victory," he purred, leaning closer. My blush intensified as he put his lips on mine.
I ONLY OWN TALIYA.
