I grinned as I tackled Cicade, who laughed and pushed me back. His Matesprit- an older, Teal Blooded male- watched us, along with my Moirail, Kikina. Cicade pushed me back, making me stumble. I smirked, charging at him again. We both fell to the grouned, rolling around a few times before stopping. Cicade sighed, a smile still on his face. "You win again, Taliya," he panted. I stood,  holding a hand out to him. He took it and I hefted him up. Kikina and Maloso (A/N: The name I just made up for the random Teal Blood :I) stood, clapping. Kikina ran over to me, jumping onto my back. I laughed and held her up. Maloso leaned down and kissed Cicade on the cheek. "You'll win eventually," he said, wrapping an arm around Cicade's shoulder. Cicade grinned. "Maybe. But Taliya's really strong." I smirked. "Damn right I am."

Kikina rolled her eyes. "No need to make her ego bigger than it already is, Cicade," she said, getting off of my back. I pouted. "I don't have a big ego... I'm just better than you," I told her, grinning at the last part. Kikina scoffed. "Yeah. Sure. Whatever." The four laughed and began their trek back to the city. "...Hey, Kikina," Cicade started, making Kikina look at him. "Where do you, and Taliya, live?" Kikina smiled. "I live in a tree with my Lusus. Taliya... I don't know where she lives..." Her brows furrowed in confusion. "Where DO you live?" I opened my mouth, another voice interrupted us. "Probably in a big pile of hoofbeast shit." I growled. "Tentia..."

Kikina, who had never met the Seadweller, frowned. "That was mean..." Tentia scoffed. "Who cares? She a Lowblood compared to me. I can talk to her anyway I want," she said, crossing her arms. Kikina reeled back a little. "Who are you anyway?" Tentia clicked her tongue. "I don't have to answer to you." "Her name is Tentia," I said. "She's the next Empress. And big bitch," I informed, smirking at the last part. She frowned. "Why are you in this forest, anyway? You almost never leave the sea," I asked, stepping in front of the group. I didn't like the look in her eye.

"I was looking for some useless grubs to cull, and it seems I found some," she giggled. My body went rigid. I was ready to grab Kikina and run. Maloso stood next to me, taking out his bladekind. I extended my clawkind, giving her a warning look. Tentia grinned evilly. She took out her ribbonkind. "Come on, peasants." I looked to Maloso, who looked back at me. "Should we?" I asked softly. Maloso shook his head. "No. If we wait, maybe she'll le-" He was struck in the arm by the ribbonkind. He grunted as the spikes were ripped out of his skin. "Maloso!" Cicade ran forward, but was pushed back. "Stay back, Cicade, Kikina. Let Taliya and I handle this," Maloso said, glaring at Tentia. "Oh~! This one has some spark!" She twirled her ribbon. "Lets go." Maloso and I shared a glance, nodding. He took off straight for her, while I circled around.

The ribbon wrapped around his sword, and he stabbed it in the ground. I jumped forward, dragging my claws across her stomach. She got her ribbon unstuck and hit me in the stomach, knocking the wind out of me. I flew through a tree completely, then hit another, landing at the base. I coughed, sending a splatter of purple onto the ground. I staggered up, making my way back to the fight. "Oh stay DOWN!" Tentia yelled, throwing the ribbon at me again. It swiped across my throat, making me fall to my knees. Kikina ran over to me, holding me up. I clutched me throat tightly, hoping to stop the blood. Maloso ran forward, only to have the ribbonkind go right through his chest. "MALOSO!" Cicade ran to his fallen Matesprit and kneeled down. Tentia whipped the ribbon at Cicade, slashing across his eye. Cicade screamed as Kikina wrapped a cloth tightly around my throat. Tentia snapped the ribbon at Kikina, whose head reeled back. A bleeding mark appeared across her forhead.

"... You're a MUTANT? Oh this is RICH!" Tentia laughed loudly. Kikina's hand went to her dagger, but I stopped her. "Do..ont..." I whispered. My voice didn't sound like my own. Tentia laughed. "You know what? I'm feeling a little nice. Since I basically killed the two strongest here; I'll leave the other two alone. They won't be any fun to kill, anyway. Too weak." Tentia laughed loudly and left. "Cicade...?" Kikina murmered, seeing him hunched over. He helds his eye with one hand, and his Matesprit's shirt with the other. "Maloso... please..." Kikina and I stood- with me leaning on her- and walked over. "Cicade..." I gurgled. He looked up, seeing the stated I was in. He stood, tears falling out of his good eye. Kikina started to cry as well, while I just stood sadly. I gurgled something unintelligble. "T-Taliya?" I started swaying, making Kikina's grasp tighter. "Taliya, what's wrong?" I heard footsteps and turned my head painfully. My eyes widened when I saw an Olive Blooded male standing there. He was looking at me with such concern. "Come on," he said, walking over and standing next to me. "My hive is near here." I took a step, but fell. The Olive Blood caught me. "I'm Piedra, by the way..." He said, not taking his stare off of me.

"Kikina," she said. "This is Cicade. And that's Taliya." Piedra smiled. "Nice to meet you all. Now, we need to get her to my hive. I'm not the best medic, but I can save her." I coughed again, violently. I started falling again as my eyes rolled back. Piedra picked me up, and began walking. I heard the other two follow behind. "Don't worry, Taliya," Piedra said, shifting my weight around to hold me better. "I'll take care of you."
